Audi Korea announced on the 15th

Audi Korea announced on the 15th that it will expand and open a workshop dedicated to sheet metal and painting services at the Sasang Service Center (operation: Yukaro Automobile).

Audi Korea has opened a new exhibition hall, but the background is drawing attention as it has been temporarily opened.

According to the imported car industry on Tuesday, Audi Korea recently opened Songpa-daero exhibition hall (operation: Kolon Auto) at 8-gil 2-gil, Chungmin-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul. It is one-stop shop for exhibitions, purchases, and consultations at one place, and is adjacent to Garden Five and Songpa Interchange on the Seoul Outer Ring Expressway. However, manpower management remains at half the usual level, as there is only one R8 product available for sale and the timing of introduction of additional models has yet to be determined.
Despite this, Audi Korea is speeding up preparations by conducting technical training sessions for the A6, A7, and Q7 at Inje Speedium in Gangwon Province, ahead of its resumption of business next year. The company is also certifying new cars including the smaller SUV Q2, the A5 sports bag and the A8.

The industry expects that the business will resume in earnest after February next year at the earliest. The instructions needed to prepare for the business have not yet been delivered to the seller. “The importer has not mentioned anything about the resumption of the business yet,” a sales representative said. “We expect the business to normalize within the first quarter of next year.”

Meanwhile, Audi Korea is currently implementing an Audi Progress campaign that emphasizes service. Through this, the company plans to build brand trust.

Initially, the Songpa-daero exhibition hall was scheduled to be officially opened on the 16th of this month, but it was converted to a temporary opening due to the difficult situation. Audi Korea explains that only service centers available to existing consumers are operating normally, but the new exhibition hall will be officially opened with the resumption of business.

Sasang Service Center has 22 work bays with a total floor area of 3,251㎡, which is about three times larger than before. It has strengthened professional and systematic services by establishing a booth dedicated to aluminum body repair and a workshop dedicated to sheet metal and painting services with the latest equipment.

In addition, by separating sheet metal and painting services and spaces dedicated to general inspection and warranty repairs, maintenance efficiency was increased and waiting time was minimized. Based on its high accessibility, it plans to provide high-quality services to consumers in Gyeongnam, such as Gimhae and Yangsan, in addition to Busan. In addition, a parking space that can accommodate 70s at the same time, a separate reception desk, and a dedicated lounge were provided to enhance convenience.

In commemoration of the expansion, Sasang Service Center will provide “2018 Audi Calendar” and “New R8” miniatures on a first-come, first-served basis when repairing accidents during January. The service center is located at 9, Hakgam-daero 191beon-gil (Hakjang-dong), Sasang-gu, Busan, and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.
